SSC Routine 2026 Published: Exam Starts April 21

SSC Routine 2026: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, has officially released the schedule for the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. According to the published routine, the written examinations are set to commence on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.

The schedule was formally announced through a notification issued by the Dhaka Education Board on Thursday (15 January). The routine indicates that the exams will be conducted simultaneously across all general education boards in the country.

Exam Timing and First Paper

As per the tradition of public examinations in Bangladesh, the SSC exams will begin with the Bengali First Paper. The notification confirms that the examinations will take place every day from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Schedule for Practical Examinations

Arrival Time: Candidates must take their seats in the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
Admit Cards: Students must collect their admit cards from their respective heads of institutions at least three days prior to the start of the exams.
Electronic Devices: Except for general scientific calculators, no other electronic devices (including mobile phones and smartwatches) are allowed inside the center. Only the center secretary is permitted to use a basic mobile phone without a camera feature.
Answer Scripts: Candidates must properly fill in the OMR sheet for their Roll and Registration numbers. Folding or writing unnecessary marks on the OMR sheet is strictly prohibited.
