According to an office order issued on Wednesday (26 November), 1,125 students have been selected for the Talent Pool Scholarship, while 9,375 students will receive the General Grade Scholarship. The DSHE has directed all education boards to publish the official gazette of the selected candidates by 4 December 2025.

Stipend Amounts and Financial Benefits

Under the revised revenue budget, students securing the Talent Pool Scholarship are entitled to a monthly stipend of BDT 825 and a one-time annual grant of BDT 1,800.

Recipients of the General Grade Scholarship will receive a monthly payment of BDT 375, along with a one-time annual grant of BDT 750. These funds are intended to support students as they transition into higher education.

Board-wise Distribution of Seats

The allocation of scholarships is proportional to the number of examinees in each board. The Dhaka Board has received the highest quota, securing 465 Talent Pool and 3,032 General Grade scholarships.

The Rajshahi Board follows with 179 Talent Pool and 1,255 General Grade slots. Other major allocations include 108 Talent Pool and 839 General Grade scholarships for Chattogram, and 106 Talent Pool and 840 General Grade slots for Jashore.

The remaining quotas are distributed as follows: Dinajpur (110 Talent, 952 General), Cumilla (49 Talent, 740 General), Mymensingh (50 Talent, 556 General), Barishal (30 Talent, 600 General), and Sylhet (28 Talent, 561 General).

Mandatory Banking Instructions

To ensure seamless fund transfer, the DSHE has mandated the use of the G2P (Government to Person) payment system. Selected students must open a bank account with any scheduled bank that offers online services.

Beneficiaries are required to submit their bank account details to their respective educational institutions within seven days of admission to the Honours or Degree level. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the scholarship.

Administrative Directives

The DSHE has instructed the board chairpersons to submit hard copies of the published gazette to the Director General by the December 4 deadline. Additionally, soft copies in Excel and PDF formats must be emailed to dsheboardgazette@gmail.com.

Students can check the official list on the DSHE Website or their respective education board portals once the gazette is released.
