About the Role: The Sales Development Manager will act as the country head for AFBL’s operations in Malaysia or UAE. You will be responsible for managing Importers/Distributors, driving Secondary Sales, ensuring product availability in retail markets, and monitoring stock levels to prevent expiry (FIFO compliance).
Distributor Management: Ensure timely order placement by Importer/Distributor as per target. Monitor Proforma Invoice (PI), TT completion, and shipment timelines.
Stock Monitoring: Regularly check Importer warehouse stock. Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) compliance. Identify and liquidate slow-moving or non-moving stock to prevent expiry.
Sales Operations: Monitor Secondary Sales (Distributor to Retail/Wholesale). Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability and visibility.
Reporting: Submit weekly market visit reports and monthly tour plans to the Head Office (GM/SM Export).
Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze competitor pricing and product information every six months. Report any misuse of the AFBL brand immediately.
Promotion & Launch: Plan and coordinate trade programs and new product launches (sampling, market introduction).
Team Supervision: Supervise, train, and evaluate the sales team’s performance abroad.
