Key Responsibilities

Ensure Accuracy: Ensure total accuracy in all General Ledger and Profit & Loss account transactions. Consequently, maintain an accurate Trial Balance.
Prepare Statements: Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements. Ensure strict compliance with IAS, IFRSs, and Bangladesh Bank regulations.
Manage Tax: Actively engage in corporate tax planning. Furthermore, prepare and submit the Tax Return to Tax Authorities on time.
Monitor Risk: Manage ALM or Balance Sheet Risk effectively. Trade-off between risk and returns to ensure a sustainable bottom line.
Prepare Reports: Prepare the Quarterly BASEL Report, Annual BASEL Disclosure, and CAMELS Report accurately.
Handle Audits: Deal directly with external auditors. Additionally, involve yourself deeply in the Annual Tax Audit and VAT Audit of the bank.

Required Qualifications

Education: You need a Graduate or Master’s degree (BBS/MBS/MBA) in Accounting, Finance, or Management. The degree must be from a reputed university.
Certifications: Newly Qualified CAs or Partly Qualified CAs will get a strong added advantage.
Experience: You must have at least 4 years of experience in a reputed Bank or NBFI. Out of this, 3 years must be in a similar financial administration role.
Technical Knowledge: You must possess sound knowledge of IASs, IFRSs, the Banking Companies Act, VAT & Tax Laws, and Bangladesh Bank’s core regulations.
